Qualifications:

Approximately 3-5 years of financial services experience, preferably operational due diligence, fund accounting or related areas
Strong academic background with basic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree; finance or accounting major preferred

Responsibilities:

The Role
We currently have an opportunity for an Operational Due Diligence (ODD) Senior Analyst within our Manager Researcher Team. You will work closely with other ODD team members and will take responsibility for the timely delivery of ODD projects and reports. Please note this role may require travel, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing fund financial statements for auditor opinions, accounting methodologies and transparency as well as controls reports, offering memorandum, IMA and subscription docs
Reconciling statements of assets, liabilities and operations, accounting policies and other accounting data within defined tolerance levels

Helping to undertake onsite operational due diligence visits:

Researching the middle and back office functions of various investment managers (hedge funds, private markets, long-only bonds and equities)
Reviewing selected fund managers’ trading systems and pricing procedures
Contributing a view towards the operational risk of a manager
Follow-up where manager changes have occurred
Collating and assimilating data to help respond to consultant and client queries
